DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE BUSINESS-ENTREPRENEURIAL ZONE KNEŽEVI VINOGRADI

The project represents a continuation of the improvement of the basic infrastructure of the Business and Entrepreneurship Zone Kneževi Vinogradi. The project aims to create preconditions for further attracting investments and to create opportunities for further improvement of the businesses of entrepreneurs and the creation of new jobs. The project mostly refers to the construction of public lighting in the Business and Entrepreneurship Zone, that is, in the part of the zone where the rest of the basic infrastructure has already been built. With this project, 1,947.61 meters of public (LED) lighting will be built. In addition, the project envisages equipping a part of the zone with communal and green infrastructure and the procurement of vehicles for the maintenance of public lighting.

EU FRAMEWORK:
This Call was launched within the Operational Program "Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014 - 2020" financed by the European Fund for Regional Development, within the framework of:

Priority axis 3. Business competitiveness,
Investment priority 3a "Promotion of entrepreneurship, especially facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas and encouraging the creation of new companies, including through business incubators"
Specific objective 3a2 - "Providing a favorable environment for the establishment and development of companies"

FINANCING

Financing of part of 85% of eligible costs from the European Regional Development Fund, in accordance with the Agreement on the allocation of grants for projects financed from Structural and Investment Funds in the financial period 2014-2020, and part of 15% from the Budget of the Municipality of Kneževi Vinogradi.

PROJECT GOALS AND RESULTS

The main goal of the project is to contribute to the sustainable economic development of the Municipality of Kneževi Vinogradi and the Urban Agglomeration of Osijek through the creation of favorable conditions for the development of entrepreneurship, the continuous development of an entrepreneurial climate that will attract new companies from Croatia and abroad, and create and increase employment opportunities for the population. This project represents the continuation of the construction of the business-entrepreneurial zone Kneževi Vinogradi and aims to build a new and strengthen the existing business infrastructure through investments to improve the efficiency, ability, quality and attractiveness of the existing business-entrepreneurial zone as well as economic entities and to create preconditions for the development of all forms of entrepreneurial activities in the Municipality of Kneževi Vinogradi and in the area of the University of Osijek.

The project will contribute to the increase of economic activity, employment, departure and displacement of young people from the area of the municipality, low living standards, income and surcharges for the Municipality will increase.
